DARIO FARIELLO
born in Naples in 1987, he plays alto saxophone and viola. He actually lives in Berlin, making sounds in many projects: Sweet Turnip, Luther Blissett, Filario Farinoppo, Bologna Improvisers Orchestra; duo collaborations with: Eren Ileri, Paul Schwingenschloegl, Cecilia Viganò, Utku Tavil.
He partecipated to the Biennal of Tehran 2008 (Berlin) and 2009 (Tehran).
With Luther Blissett he took part in the Chicago “Immediate Sound Series” and in the “Improvised Music Series”. With “Filario Farinoppo” he played at Frakture Festival, Liverpool and at Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra Festival. They collaborated with Gino Robair, Eugene Chadbourne, Jonas Kocher, Renato Ciunfrini, and performed at the Angelica Festival 2009 as part of the Bologna Improvisers Orchestra; they took part in Lawrence D. “Butch” Morris CONDUCTION® No. 184. “BangBoom” and played at the London Jazz Festival.
He has been involved as a solo artist in the Venice Biennale 2009.

ÖRS, ILERI und SEYHAN waren bereits in ähnlicher Zusammensetzung in ihrer Heimatstadt Istanbul musikalisch aktiv. Seit einigen Jahren in Wien basiert, gehen sie mit diesem Projekt einen Schritt weiter, zerlegen Tradiertes und Überliefertes und überführen es in einen neuen, improvisationsreichen Kontext. Der Ausgangspunkt ist Hip Hop.
Fragmentarische Reminiszenzen an die alte Schule werden durch Ambientflächen und Noise-Outbursts durchbrochen, Overdubs und Sounds aus dem ganzen Frequenzspektrum widersetzen sich fliessend dem Diktat der looptechnischen Songstruktur, wachsen an, übernehmen und werden von harten Schnitten abgelöst. Im Geiste der Improvisation des Jazz wird die Abfolge der einzelnen Elemente eingangs nicht bestimmt.

PRCLS was born in one of the years people his age are born in.
He has no clue how he got to making music, but at least he knows why he is making it now.
His trademark is giving you the feeling you’re in space, drinking coloured water through a straw whilst being
scared of the monster under your bed.
